while away the boy has mastered the art of walking (a cute new pair of kicks from portland doesn't hurt one's desire to strut). he has apparently grown an inch or two - because now he can reach many dangerous items that he could never reach before (ie. the knobs of the stove). he has always enjoyed housework - but now he insists on participating. his favorite chores include setting the table, sweeping, dusting, mopping, helping with the laundry - what are the chances this interest will continue into adolescence? he continues to find new ways of expressing himself - new words, new signs, oh and we must not forget a less than endearing instantaneous cry (which includes a very dramatic expression and no tears) - oh the hardship of being 16 months old.
but as always he continues to find adventure in all things and continues to bring his mama & papa a whole lot of joy!
