as i mentioned in my last post, i am on vacation - yippee! a whole week with nothing to do but bask in the bug. well of course there is the stack of paperwork for work and a medical license to apply for and a move to plan.... but i opted to bask in the bug.
unfortunately pat had to work during the week. but
seattle had phenomenal weather, so
ewan enjoyed being out & about in the neighborhood and nesting at home.
ewan being carried by mama as we walk back from
ice cream (yum!).
he is finding his papa pretty humorous.
the smile-to-giggle-to-belly laugh is a favorite of ours these days.

bug soaking in the sun as we take a walk to the post office.
this poor babe was born in
seattle in
november he is not accustomed to the sunshine!
feet meet......

because of the lovely spring weather, ewan had two firsts this week... feet meet sand & feet meet grass. note the pudgy tops to the feet.

it was not only the feet that met the grass for the first time.
ewan and i spent a lovely afternoon at
wallingford park. he was fascinated by the grass & the squealing children playing at the nearby playground.

it was not all outdoors and action this week. we did enjoy some home time. we enjoyed lots of snuggles.

and time with our buddy
murph dog (who is becoming increasingly popular - no longer a mobile part of the home decor, both
murphy & lily have become quite intriguing to the bug).
ewan also graduated to the big boy bath this week. we realized that it was probably unfair to call it a bath when only 1/4 of his body was submerged in the sink bath. the big boy bath allows for LOTS of kicking. a natural at the backstroke - just like his uncle
jason.
ewan & pat enjoying more sunshine at the dog park. check out the mariner's hat. this week
ewan also went to his first ball game. see the photo to the right. he was a hit with the ladies. and made it to the 5
th inning without falling asleep - that is just about how long i could make it when we go the games post-call. go mariners!
